Many know Bart Weiss from his work with the Dallas VideoFest and as a fixture in the Dallas, TX creative scene, but he has also made many of his own experimental films that have been screened at important institutions like New York's Anthology Film Archives, and now DEx Film Society in partnership with Top Ten Records and Texas Theatre.
These films, made by Weiss through the 70's and 80's primarily on 16mm film, will be presented as a live streaming event and for a limited time through Video On Demand. While we had hoped to screen these films in their original format, we are happy to be able to show them in new, high quality digital transfers made by Spracklen Film and Video.
